Freight that keeps its promises.
Rocket Freight Co is a new logistics operation built around a simple rule: one person owns your shipment from pickup to proof of delivery. Full truckload, LTL, and container drayage — launching lanes out of Chicago.
What we move
Three modes, one point of contact.
Full truckload
Dry van & reefer, 48–53 ft
Your freight, the whole trailer, door to door. Scheduled pickups, live check calls at every stop, and a delivery window we treat as a commitment rather than a suggestion.
Less than truckload
1–10 pallets
Pallet freight that shouldn't pay for empty trailer space. We consolidate along our launch lanes, so smaller shippers get truckload-grade handling at a pallet-sized price.
Drayage
Port & rail container moves
Containers off the Chicago rail ramps, moved before demurrage eats your margin. Chassis arranged, appointments managed, empties returned without you chasing anyone.
Launch lanes
Starting narrow, running deep.
We'd rather run five lanes reliably than fifty lanes badly. These are the corridors we're opening with — chosen for steady volume and the carrier relationships we're building now. More lanes get added as each one earns consistent capacity.
Shipping somewhere else? Tell us the lane in the form below; it shapes what we open next.
| Origin | Destination | Mode |
|---|---|---|
| Chicago, IL | Columbus, OH | FTL + LTL |
| Chicago, IL | Minneapolis, MN | FTL + LTL |
| Chicago, IL | Atlanta, GA | FTL |
| Chicago, IL | Newark, NJ | FTL |
| Chicago rail ramps | Chicagoland, within 75 mi | Drayage |
Lanes are planned for launch and may adjust with early demand. Reverse direction quoted on request.
For shippers
Know where your freight is without asking twice.
You get a named contact who answers the phone, not a ticket queue. Here's what working with us will look like from day one:
- Quoted in hours, not days — with the rate broken out so you can see what you're paying for.
- Check calls at pickup, in transit, and at delivery — you hear from us before you think to ask.
- Paperwork done right: BOLs, lumper receipts, and PODs delivered with the invoice, not after it.
For carriers
Loads that respect your clock.
We're signing on owner-operators and small fleets for our launch lanes. The deal is built around the things dispatchers usually get wrong:
- Honest appointment windows and detention terms stated on the rate confirmation, not negotiated after.
- Quick-pay option planned from day one, because cash flow is the whole game for a small fleet.
- Round-trip planning on our core lanes so you're not deadheading home from Columbus on your own dime.
Before launch
Get in line — shipper or carrier.
We're standing up operations now: authority, insurance, and the first carrier network. Tell us who you are and what you move (or haul), and we'll reach out as booking opens, in the order requests came in.
